The NOVA Strings Academy was founded in 2020 with the vision of bringing high quality music lessons to students of all ages and abilities in Northern Virginia and all over the world. Its founder Dr. Julia Clancy is a world renowned performer and pedagogue with nearly 20 years of experience teaching aspiring musicians ranging from the beginner to collegiate level. Our students have gone on to Ivy League Universities and the Nation's top conservatories.
What we teach:
The NOVA Strings Academy focuses primarily on instruction in violin and viola performance. However, a well-rounded musical education also requires study of music theory, music history, and various styles of musical performance.
